Wedding Night Hotel

My sister wants to pay for our hotel on the night of our wedding.  While we think this is a wonderful idea, we don't want to choose a hotel that's super expensive. 

We want to go somewhere downtown and want it to be romantic. 

Any ideas?

We are staying at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead.  I think just a room isn't too expensive.  They also have several packages.  The wedding night deal is expensive but there are others that are much lower in price; like a romance package or date night package.  Those can vary between $200-$300 and sometimes include 2 nights instead of one.

we stayed at the omni cnn center.  We got the romance package that included turn down service, champaign, rose petals, and breakfast in bed or at their restaurant the next day and it was $175.  They even left my husband check in the morning of the wedding so he could drop off the stuff we needed for the next day and leave a car for us to drive home.  They even upgraded our room to a corner and we had a great view of the city and olympic park.

It isn't exactly downtown, but we love W-Midtown.  It is where we'll be staying.

we will be staying at the Loew's hotel in downtown in a suite---tell her to go to www.hotels.com and the rates are great!!! or even hotwire-you get great deals!

We're staying at the St Regis on W Paces Ferry... It's gorgeous!

We ended up choosing the Ritz Carlton. It had a fantastic wedding night package and even though we aren't leaving right away for our honeymoon, they are going to take us anywhere we want within a 50 mile radius the next day.
