Venue for bridal shower in Dekalb/Rockdale County??

Hello,

Does anyone know offhand of a nice venue where a bridal shower (for a friend) can be hosted, maybe about 40 people?  I found a nice place but was quoted $500 just for the rental and that is was a bit steep IMO.  Somewhere preferably east of Atlanta.

Try any of the community centers. Or you could also try the Mary Gay House.

The Stockbridge Community Center, I think it is like $250.  It is not in Rockdale/Dekalb, but it is an easy commute.

I would suggest calling colf/country clubs. In Rockdale County you have Cherokee Run, The Highlands, and Honey Creek Golf and Country Club. If you want to go to Newton County, there is the Oaks and Indian Creek. They have rooms to rent out, and if its during the day, they are usually a little cheaper than at night. And they can do the food, too. Not sure of price or how much your wanting to spend, but they have nice views of the courses, so you probably wouldnt have to worry too much about decorations.
