It depends on who you get, really. If you go to church on a regular basis, then your preacher will probably do it for free or for a small donation to your church. You can get a friend or family member licensed for one day to perform the ceremony. So I guess you could potentially find one for free.

Our ceremony will be non-religious so I'm wondering how much a non-religious officiant will cost.....

Robin - we used Rick Prigmore (though he is Rev), he specializes and has done non-denominational and interfaith marriages for 30 years. I have his card @ work, so can send you the info tomorrow if you'd like.

We used Reverend Deanna Lancaster - Rev. D.  She is nothing short of amazing.  For a personalized ceremony, rehearsal and ceremony our charge was $225.  The best money we spent on our wedding.  On WeddingWire check out her reviews - nothing short of 5 stars.  I cannot say enough about her.  AMAZING.  You can contact her at revdeanna@charter.net.

Please let her know that Capri referred you if you get in touch with her.  Thanks!

Give Rev. H. Rob Clark a try - he charges $200.00 and does non-deno weddings:

You can have a friend do it for you and then it would be personal and FREE! They can become ordained through the Universal Life Church online. I did it and it is completly legal. :)

    Thanks!!
