Wedding venue and date change

This is an odd request since I am the groom, but my fianc and I have a fate of November 10 2012 set as our date and a great location picked out and a deposit made. However, we have to postpone until March. Our venue I think will allow us to shift dates if they can get replacements for that date. It's a great historic home in Roswell. Not sure if anyone can help with this but please let me know. Jon

    It is probably best to contact the venue directly.  Each venue has its own policy.

    OP, have you already worked out your date shift? We are set on November 10, 2012 (it's already our anniversary!), but the venue we've put a deposit on already (also in Roswell) doesn't look like it's going to work out, and I'm panicking a little! We've already ordered save the dates! Where is your venue/who should I contact if I'm interested?
