Anyone going to Romancing the Bride tonight?

Also wondering if anyone has had success negotiating with them?

    I am going to the Romaning the Bride event tonight.

    My wedding is scheduled for July 15th at the Atrium. I found that if you ask you can get some discounts. Also, if you are flexible with the date you can find days they haven't sold or times that aren't selling well and get good discounts on the rental fee and ceremony fee. Also, I was able to get them to give me cheaper food packages (the food may not be as grand; but there will still be just as much just less choices) -- the way their buffet work is they will refill the food for 2 hours as much as people eat; so its not a set potion for each person. Also, they have minimums for the number of guest (100 for Saturday Evening; 75 any other time); go low on your initial guest count and they mayl write into the contact that your food minimum is less (which helps if you plan for more guests that you originally thought).

    If you click on the Featured Weddings link, "Jim and Bobbie" are friends of mine.  They LOVED The Atrium, and they said everything went off without a hitch.
