The Grande at Kennesaw

Any opinions about this venue?  I live in Texas and my mother in law found it (they live in Marietta).

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't know much about the venue but what type of vibe are you going for with the wedding?

The venue has a very plantation feel to it, because it's a plantation mansion and there's an area outside to hold the ceremony.

Haven't been in person but it looks gorgeous on their website.  I wasn't too thrilled with their DJ that you have to use, only because he looks like a throwback to the 80s - old man with a mustache lol.

The Grande was in my top three. It is a very beautiful venue with everything included. You won't have to worry about a thing. I don't know what size wedding you are having but the reception area seemed a little small to me. Also, it is very close to the road but it didn't seem like there was much traffic noise.

I visited The Grande and did not like it. The building is old and in disrepair on the outside and the area inside for seating is very small. We would have to have put tables outside to fit everyone. That being said, the people there were very nice and the yard is nice and you have two options for ceremony outside if you don't put tables on one of the areas.

I went to a wedding at The Grande last October.  There were ~150 guests.  It was quite enjoyable!  It has your typical house-type issues; I didn't get to see the first dance because of the wall and crowd, but other than that, it was a lovely venue.  The bride has had nothing but good things to say about it, plus they partner with Gabriel's Desserts - YUMMY CAKES!!!!!!
