Dress Update! No pics. :(

We decided to change the dress quite a bit at my alterations appointment. I didn't like the way it was fitting at all. So, we're putting in a corset back! I'm so excited. I wanted a corset back all along, but my mom convinced me not to get one because she doesn't like them. So, I'm glad that I get the dress of my dreams! We're getting it back on Friday. I'll make sure to post pics then!

I did the same thing. I actually love my re-designed dress better than the original. I pick mine up next Sunday, can't wait to see pics of yours.

It's great that you're getting the dress you wanted. I'm no where near ready to shop yet, but I am so worried about my mom pressuring me into something I don't love. She has great taste and is pretty stylish. Maybe even more so than me, but I want to love my dress, not just like it or pick it because she loves it. You'd think that at 30 I'd have this all figured out! Haha!

Stand your ground when you find what you like, but try on everything! It took me 15 dresses before I found the one that I have now, and I still wasn't happy with it. What I thought I wanted looked horrible on me.
