So FI just bought a house in December of last year, it's a major fixer upper. The dryer has never worked, he thinks the heating element is out you can run it all day and the clothes won't be dry! Then in February he replaced the hot water heater and had to shut the gas off since then the oven doesn't bake anything!
Since we are still not living there full time he hasn't bothered to fix these two things, but finally it is time! He is on vacation next week to work on some projects on the house so i've been calling trying to schedule some appointments with people! So far i've gotten two companies to come out on Friday and Saturday! The oven is 30 years old and they warned me they may not have the parts, but since it used to work i'm praying it's just the pilot light or something simple.
Anyways I just feel like a wife, making these appointments and we're finally painting the upstairs bathroom this weekend! WHOOP! So far the only room we've painted are the hallway upstairs and the living room, both blue (my grandmother about died but FI loves it) we've painted half the kitchen and dinning room yellow.
