I was really surprised at the lack of "ambiance" of some of the bridal stores in Atlanta... Does anyone else feel that way?
IIn my search for a wedding gown, I first went to Treasures Formals in Roswell and thought it had a really strange set up. Immediately when you walk in there is a sparse collection of bridesmaids dresses on the left and tons of pagent/mother of the bride dresse on the right. I though overall that the store was really small and the wedding gowns were sectioned off with what looked like white sheets. You weren't allowed to even look at them unless you made an apt. And the girls at the front were not friendly.
Then, I went to Wedding Angels in Roswell and I understand that they just moved to a better?? location. The store was a maze of dressing rooms that lined the outskirts of the building with only 1 long center room of wedding gowns. I didn't find that the selection was large either and they only had 1 small 8 foot rack of sample gowns for sale. I was pretty much ignored too by the salespeople and walked all around the enitre store while everyone was busy doing something else I guess (there was no one else in the entire store except for me and another bride getting alterations). It felt really weird in there. They did have nice jewelry and bridal sashes though from what I saw.
Finally, I went to Atlanta Bride Couture in Alpharetta and it was great !! A ton of gowns to choose.from. Super friendly girls. Nice, new large dressing rooms with cheerful lighting throughout the store. It also had a good vibe, fun music playing and the owner, Sara was so knowledgeable and great to work with. I loved this store and ended up buying my gown there.
Anyone else have any olther experiences to share on other bridal salons?
