Why is Rebecca Bunch being allowed to post all over with a link to her website advertising her services? I thought vendors weren't allowed to post here. I hope the board doesn't end up being overrun by advertisements, although I guess that would liven it up a bit, LOL.

I think she may be allowed because she is not really advertising her site. She is a local photographer that has offered to help people out by giving reccomendations. She's not just spamming the boards going "hey go to my website!!"
That's just a guess though.

I'm sorry, I won't use my weblink anymore. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I enjoy being a part of the Atlanta wedding community and do feel like I have insight to offer and enjoy getting ideas and opinions from brides as well. Also, please note that I never post anything on discussion topics that involve photography as that would obviously be a conflict of interest. Again, I apologize if anyone felt like I was being intrusive. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of The Knot community!

I didn't think she was a vendor either. Lots of girls on the baby board are photogs and they talk about stuff all the time. You just aren't allowed to promote yourself. But good lookin out...I give a side eye to some of the recomendation posts we get. The girls never post here but recommend their photog, florist etc. Suspicious.

I agree that vendor's shouldn't be allowed to promote themselves, but I've always enjoyed reading what Rebecca has to say!  I think because she is so much more involved in the wedding industry in ATL her suggestions and ideas are always great!

Vendors are not allowed to promote themselves and I did not know that she was posting as a vendor. Rebecca, thank you for the apology and I will be mindful of what you post going forward.
