Universal Life Church recognized in GA?

I'm having a panic attack because our wedding is 2 weeks away and we're trying to confirm that my friend who was ordained online via the ULC will be recognized as legal to perform the ceremony.

The thing is, we are getting married in Michigan, but he is a resident of Clarke County, GA. If he was a Michigan resident we know it'd be ok, but he needs to be recognized by GA...we think.

Have any of you had a friend ordained by ULC and officiate in GA?! Did they need to register as a minister? Please, please help us!

Thank you in advance!

We got married in WI and our friend was from GA. GA rules had nothing to do with it. You file you marriage certificate in the state and county the service is performed. It had everything to do with if the WI county we married in recognised him. He had to have a letter of sponsorship. Check with Michigan.
