Do you think it is necessary to have favors?


No, I don't think it's necessary but I think it's a nice gesture. I've been to weddings that didn't have favors and honestly didn't miss them at all, and unless the favors are some sort of candy or food they are usually under appreciated anyways.

    I don't think it's necessary.  The best favor I have gotten at a wedding yet was a koozy (sp?) - the thing you put a cold drink can in to keep it cold lol.  It had the couples' name and wedding date on it.

    Personally, I don't want a nic-nac of the wedding unless it is actually something I can use and that isn't covered in the wedding date and bride and groom. Unless it is a bottle of booze with a personal label...don't mind those one bit :)

    Agreed.  I don't think they are necessary, but I think they're a nice touch.  The best favor I've received at a wedding was a CD of the bride and groom's favorite songs.  I actually had it in my car for months, it was so good!  

    We're doing bottles of wine with custom labels.  Cheers!
