How I liked/didn't like my wedding vendors.

I was looking for a way to write reviews to future brides about my wedding experience and am so glad I found the knot!

First off, the good:

venue was amazing. I was married at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville, GA. Roger is SO nice and accomodating. He let me do whatever I wanted wherever I wanted in his venue and even let my photographer move some of the furniture around! The most flexible venue I found, as my wedding was pretty atypical.

photographers & videpgraphers were awesome. I used fotografie atlanta for both. They also did our engagement photos. Their pricing was the best I could find for the quality and they have a really long surbvey you fill out so they know exactly what your wedding is like and how you want the photos done.

cake was from sweet delights. it looked and tasted amazing and the sugar flowers looked real no one knew they were edible!

the bad...

the caterers weren't that great. I used formal occasions catering. the food didn't taste nearly as good as when we did the testing.

the flowers... do not use florist chique. they are terrible. my bouquet literally started to fall apart and had to be repaired

hope these help!!!! :) I am happily married now and wouldn't change that for the world. don't worry, with the right people to help, you can be done soon!

Re: How I liked/didn't like my wedding vendors.

  • Sorry to hear about your bad vendors....I had a similar experience with my caterers. Granted I only took 3 bites of my food but guests didn't mind at all.

Hoorray for the great experiences! I know photography was very important to me so we decided to pay a little more and get a very talented photographer. I don't regret it a bit as I am in love with all my pictures.
