Biltmore Ballrooms

im getting married at The Biltmore using one ballroom for my ceremony & one ballroom for my reception. They are giving us a total of 5 hours. Is this enough time for everything? Any previous brides get married here??

Friend of mine got married there.  Go figure this is what your timeline will look like with a 5 hour block

1 hour for ceremony (seating, ceremony, etc..)
1 hour for photography - guests have cocktail hour
    3 hours for reception

Now that is if there is NO hicups at all during your day.  Now ask yourself if that is enough time.

I honestly think that it is not.  Though that is just my 2cents :)

I kind of feel the same way lorifrank2003. I do have an EXCELLENT wedding planner so im confident she will be able to keep everything running smoothly. But to me 5 hours just seems so short.

does 5 Hours include set up time and break down time for your vendors? The vendors will need 2 hours before and 2 hours after to set up and clean up

also a 3 hours reception may be kind of short- you do not want to be rude and rush your guests out. Esp if they have been drinking. They need time to let the alcohol wear off before driving home.
