Since everyone was talking about ceremony music last week, let's talk about how you're going to play the music!

Live musicians? iPod/ CD? Piano/ organ player? None?

Live musicians? iPod/ CD? Piano/ organ player? None? Looked into live musicians but that would have cost just as much as our DJ for the entire night, so we're sticking with our Dj doing the music for the ceremony as well.

P.S. What's for dinner? I'm starving already!  For tonight? Fish and chips  For the wedding? Steak and Chicken BBQ buffet.. YUM!

We are having a DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. For dinner, I am thinking some KFC. Craving their mashed potatoes, mmmm!

I'm having a spanis guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour.  He's going to play for 2 hours.  then I'm having a DJ. 

It's 10.37 here...I had a pizza with radicchio.  We are in desperate need of going food shopping

My FI was a DJ back in the day so he's in charge of the music.  We're just bringing the iPad and hooking it up to the speakers at the venue.  He has a playlist for the ceremony and one for the reception.

Dinner: My FI is super sick so he'll be eating soup which means I can eat whatever I want. You know what that means, right? BREAKFAST! FOR DINNER! WOO HOO!

Well I don't offically have it figured out yet the plan is to have a live piano player for the wedding. My venue has Two! beautiful baby grands and I'd hate to see them go to waste. I'm hoping to hire one of my students to play since I'll be able to pay them a lot less. I also may have a few of my students come and sing at the wedding. I'm the producer of the drama club and my kids really want to come but I can't afford it. This way a select few will be able to come and I can enjoy their music!

For dinner: The weather is amazing here so we're grilling. Burgers and hot dogs!

I WANT BREAKFAST FOR DINNER!!!!!! I will unfortunately be stuck at work for the next several hours because my boss is a complete idiot. (Can you tell I'm pissed?)

Oh. The QOTD. We have an organist and cantor through the church for the ceremony. For the reception, we have a 9 piece band, but for the cocktail hour, they're not all playing. For cocktails, 3 of them are going to form a jazz trio. (I've heard them do this before they are out of control awesome.)

I hate my job.

We are going to be having a DJ for the cocktail hour, and reception. Ceremony I have some family members who will be singing to instrumental music..my two cousin have beautiful singing voices ! For dinner..FI just asked if pizza and pasta salad sounded good and you know what I said..yes sir !!

for dinner, I made a variation of this when I realized I pretty much had all of the ingredients on hand: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/10/autumn-salad-with-pears-and-gorgonzola.html. We had some already cooked chicken breast in the fridge, so I added that to bulk it up a bit. FI LOVED it!

Ceremony music is still a mystery. I highly doubt our 6 hr DJ means ceremony music plus reception. I think we might just go the iPod/ CD route and have someone monitor it.... as in get the venue lady to put someone in charge. Bad idea still?

Dinner will be made by FSIL's 2 Argentinan visitors tonight. They're couch surfing at her house (have you guys heard of this website btw??? Sounds awesome!) This couple has direct Italian backgrounds and are making us HOMEMADE pizza... I'm talking these guys are even making the dough from scratch!! This is serious business. And I'm psyched!

We're having a live cello quartet for the ceremony & then a DJ for the reception...

We had spaghetti for dinner...FI had put in a roast when he got home, but didn't realize that roasts take longer than 3 hrs to make...haha...he is totally bummed!

We are doing a live musician for the ceremony, FI neice playing her flute.  Then for the reception we are using Ipods and speakers.

We had pancakes sausage and eggs for dinner.

Well about the ceremony I just started

thinking about a violist playing while

guest will be arriving at the church,since here

it's not that common to have any music in the

ceremony,coir is common thing.Then for the

venue dj,and maybe live musicians,we have to

cover the ''traditional'' thing too.Or we'll be lucky and

find a dj mastering 3 languages..

Dinner?Not sure about it yet..

We have a new singer/organist at my church and he's such a serious upgrade from the old guy who used to play... so I'm really excited about him playing at our wedding.  There's also a woman who sings at mass at our church and I'm hoping I can also get her to come sing at our wedding... her voice is so beautiful.

We have a DJ for the reception.. the original guy we booked quit without warning (and started his own company) a few weeks after we booked him, so the company replaced him with the DJ we are currently having, and we like him a LOT better, so it worked out nicely.

I don't know yet. We're trying to decide what we're goint to serve. For the US wedding I think I'm leaning towards a good soup right now. For the Indian wedding I've already been informed that two of Ryan's friends moms have volunteered to cook the food (with us payign for it of course) so it will depend on what we can afford and what they can cook.

One thing we're definitely having is a cookie bar!

I didn't have supper last night I went to bed really hungry and I woke up really early today because I was hungry!! Not a lot of food at our new house and I was too exhausted to eat. Bad Katie, I had a huge bowl of cereal this morning though!
