Pearl S Buck/181 Park

I am helping a friend who is on a pretty tight budget with trying to find a reception venue. 

Does anyone know anything about Pearl S Buck in Perkasie or 181 Park in Chalfont?

    I hear 181 Park is supposed to be pretty affordable, however, I saw some odd reviews on WeddingWire re: the owner's antics.  Pearl S. Buck rents out its space through Memorable Affairs (I believe).  I'm also on a pretty tight budget, and I thought the fees just to rent the place, tents, and chairs were a little steep, so I ended up with an off-season, friday date near where I live now, rather than where I grew up....but the space there is beautiful.  They have pretty regular open houses--just send an inquiry to them about the space and you can get added to the mailing list.

    I hear Nostalgia in Chalfont is also pretty good for what you get, and I'd also check out the William Penn Inn and Marjeane's.
