hair trial today - a few questions

I'm getting my hair trial done today and I'm a bit nervous because I'm particular about my hair, any general advice?

Also a question about tipping... I'm using a girl that is new to the company I picked so the trial with her is free.  The owner of the company will be there as well.  Do I dip the girl?  If so, how much?

    Definitely tip her! At least $20.
    Bring in photos! Communicate as best you can. Do you like volume? Slick? Romantic, loose updo? Modern updo? half up-half down? Parted to the side? Braids? These are all things you should be upfront about.
