Wedding favors: eco-friendly koozie?

We're having a casual, informal wedding on the beach so my fiance and I were thinking can koozies would be fun, yet practical wedding favors.  We want to be eco-friendly, though, and I'm pretty sure that the neoprene ones are not great for the environment, both during production and as waste.  

Does anyone know of a place that sells eco-friendly, durable, affordable koozies that can be customized?  Or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

There is a really easy-to-follow pattern on www.Ravelry.com for Can Cozies. If you knit it in Organic cotton yarn (its a great starter project, I made 2 in one day!) it'll be ecofriendly and you can customize the colors to each person. Good luck!
