Would anyone be willing to share their (past or present) registries?  Our shower invites are going out soon and I feel like our registries are a hot mess.  I'd love to see a few examples so I can pick out what I'm missing.

I actually got an ice cream scooper as a shower gift.  It was a cute idea and I may use it for a future gift idea.. My friend put together some ice cream related things we registered for; ie- sundae bowls, scooper, ice cream maker .. and then she went out and got things like chocolate fudge sauce, nuts, sprinkles, etc.  She put it all together in a basket and called it a wedding 'treat' .  It was a very cute idea.  The ice cream maker made it a VERY generous gift, but I think it would have been a cute idea even w/o the ice cream maker in it for those on a lower budget.

So, if there is no picture or clickable link on the registry for BB&B.....the item is probably discontinued, yes?

I think some of the items without pics on BB&B are in-store purchase only.  I've seen some of my items disappear, then reappear.  Its kinda confusing.

Amer - do you know you have a bag of twizzlers on your registry? Did JEGs run off with the scanner gun?

hahah, yes I did see that!

We went to put a toaster on the registery in April, but he made a mistake that thought he scanned 4 toasters.

When I went back to fix it I saw not only did we have 4 toasters, but he also registered for six four-piece sets of the UGLIEST china I have ever seen, the twizzlers and some sort of beer mug cozy- thingy.  I thought the Twizzlers was hilarious so I left it.

I kid you not, at our first shower we got 3 pounds of Twizzlers.  I took some into work, he took some into work and we still have some.

Anyone want some Twizzlers?

Sometimes things that people purchase but aren't on your registry get scanned all under your registry and get added.  We have Mike and Ikes and Rainsets on our registry now as a result
