Old York Road Country Club Ceremony

Hi ladies,

My finace and I are planning a wedding at OYRCC in September of 2013. We LOVE the venue, but are a bit nervous about the ceremony site. We are having about 100 guests and although I know they host much larger weddings we are afraid it seems a bit tight. We are also nervous about the parking lot being so close. Has any one had a ceremony there or attended a ceremony there? Any input it greatly appreciated, because we would like to set the date ASAP!

We are having our ceremony there and plan on 150 guests....and I have seen pictures (on their facebook page) of weddings that large and there is plenty of room.  As for the parking lot...think of it this way...just a few more people to stare at you as you marry your best friend!  The crew at OYRCC goes ABOVE and BEYOND!  We are an out of town couple and they have been so accomodating....we also had our tasting already...and OMG...the food is to DIE for!!!

The ceremony site with the parking lot so close was the deal breaker for me.
I think they should move the ceremony to another place in the golf course.

I can understand that being a deal breaker, do you mind if I ask where you chose instead? We haven't been able to find anything else with a reasonable price that we like more! Thanks!!

Did you talk to the club? Maybe they can arrange for another site? Or, depending on your budget, you could create a more private feel by putting up tree branches or, if you have a vintage theme, I've seen some repurposed old doors.
