So this is just something that errked me but FI would not get it as he does not get wedding etiquette...lol
FI got invited to a wedding this year, when we recieved the invite it was addressed only to FI. So when it came to rsvping I told FI that since it was addressed just to him, I would obviously not be rspving too (we had already been engaged at this point for about 5 mths, dating for 3 yrs and I had met these ppl many times). Turns out on the back in one of the corners in pen both our names were hand writen so we did rsvp for 2. Went to the wedding had a great time... flash forward to revieving the thank you card... again only addressed to FI..... lol if it weren't for me picking out the gift they would have gotten like engine oil (I love FI
hehe)...That and the Thank Yous were a nice photo but no "thank you for the thoughtful gift of *fill in the blank*. We will have a wonderful time enjoying in our *fill in the blank*" just a pic with a 'thank you' graphic on it. I thought that was a no no? And it was a fairly small wedding not like they had 400 thank you's to send. oh well
Not taking it as anything serious it's just one of those things you gotta get off your chest lol and done. Anybody have an experience like this?
