Help!! Babysitter Wanted!

Hi ladies,

So with 4 days to go, I have now been given the task of finding a babysitter for my out of town family from Florida. My aunt and uncle are traveling with their 4 children. They range in age from 12 down to 5. Due to the very large wedding that we are having, we have set the age limit at 18 with the exception of the children involved in the wedding. I, unfortunately, cannot find a sitter for them. I am still looking, but I am hoping one of you can help me out with a recommendation for a sitter or service. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How are they related to you? Mom's siblings? Dad's siblings? It's their responsiblity to find a sitter. You've got enough on your plate.

Yea why would they come up here for the wedding if they don't have a sitter? Did they not know the kids were not attending? I agree with amer, it is not your responsibility. Sorry I can't help you out though.

I think it's nice that you are helping them find a babysitter, since they are coming from out of town and likely don't know anyone in the area. Do you have any siblings (or does your fiance) that have close friends that are trustworthy, but not invited to the wedding?

We use The Wedding Sitters, and it worked out well. They came to the hotel and used a suite we had for the evening. They're kind of expensive, but you get what you pay for and they were totally trustworthy and great with the kids.

My uncle is my mom's brother. I want to just tell them to figure it out on their own, but I feel like I have to try to help them out since they are flying up here for my wedding. I just sent the link of the Wedding Sitters to my uncle and I let him that I am having a really difficult time trying to find someone. I have been asking family & friends for recommendations, but most everyone I know is coming to the wedding and they are using their sitters.
