Artesano Iron Works

We just looked at the Artesano Iron Works and loved it.  Has anyone had an event?  We would love all feedback - good and bad.  Also, the food - price, quality, etc.

Thanks!

I got married at Artesano in October 2010 and I loved it. Taccoten got married there the day after me so if she still posts here, she could help also.

I cannot tell you how much we loved it. We had the ceremony downstairs and a cocktail reception upstairs. We were married on a Friday night so the rental price was a little cheaper than a Saturday. There prices varied by the season.  The owners of the gallery were great. At the time we were married we had to bring in our own caterer, I am not sure if that is still allowed, but we used Sage. If you have any other questions, let me know!

Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

My office has their annual kick off there last year.  Really nice place!  I loved the downstairs and the patio area was super cute.

We booked the Artesano for June next year.   The rental fee is $5000 since we are having a Saturday wedding & reception.  Well worth the price since you have the entire gallery to yourself...and Ivan and Dawn are great.  They have an in-house caterer now, with an amazing menu selection! Feel free to email me if you have any other questions jjpullin@gmail.com

Thanks for all the responses.  We love the place but need to know more about the food, since its now in house, and pricing, since they don't have a true menu with pricing attached.  Has anyone had an event there and used their chef and any type of pricing for the food would be really helpful.

Our amazing menu includes a cheese table, 4 passed hors d'ovoures (lollipop lamb chops, mini cuban burgers, crab cakes, and fingerling potatos with truffle oil and parmesan), a mushroom soup starter based on a recipe from our favoirite restaurant, a dual surf and turf entree (I could cut the filet with my fork), a dessert table with cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate ganache, and carrot cake and a Starbucks coffee station.  We're having 125 guests, and our total of $21,000 includes staff (including bartenders), tax, gratuity and all rentals, including linens, glassware and dinnerware, chairs and tables, etc...

Worth every penny, and we can save money a few ways: We can bring in our own liquor, beer and wine, and we really saved a lot of money on floral and decor since the space is so beautiful and needs to little.

My Fiance and I are looking here tomorrow!  I'm excited to see it as the pictures are gorgeous.  It looks exactly like that we're looking for.
