Okay--so after our 8000000th Happy Hour invite to celebrate our engagement, I was talking it over with a friend about just having an informal engagement party. Basically, just pick a place at some bar/restaurant and whoever can stop by to have drinks and appetizers to celebrate with us can. I am thinking somewhere between 25-40 people. Any good, central locations *most of our friends and family are in Southern suburbs* that have either free room rental or reasonable spaces that could accomodate that number? I am just staring to think it would be easier and more fun ( and I wouldn't have to tell the proposal story a gazillion times) but I don't want a big "to-do" that anyone has to throw me and make a huge deal out of it!
