Wedding is finally over

I had been helping my daughter plan her wedding and it is finally over!  It was so much more work than I ever expected.  Everyone had a great time.  The place (Ellis Ranch) was great, the food was excellent (Nordy's BBQ) and the flowers took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes (About Vase Floral). The only regrets were that I did not reserve seating at the ceremony for family and there was a mix-up.  Some aunts and uncles of the bride sat very near the back.  I didn't think reserving seats was necessary, but apparently it is.  Don't make the same mistake, girls!!  Also, the original DJ threw his back out and had a replacement.  The audio did not work during the ceremony so those in the back (including aunts & uncles!) could not hear anything!  Oh, and the cake was very disappointing.  It looked very amateur, but hey it was cheap!!  We had an acquaintance make it who has made cakes since she was a young girl, and she also was the primary baker for a local wedding venue (not Ellis Ranch).  She has retired but does cakes for friends.  Because of these qualifications, we thought the cake would be much more professional looking (the cake was placed on a piece of plywood covered with aluminum foil)!!
