Question from an Out of State Bride!

We are thinking of having a summer wedding in either Tellluride or Durango.  Do any of you Colorado ladies have any advice about this?  Places that are amazing? Whether this is even a good idea?  We have only started planning and are just tossing around ideas.  We live in New Mexico so it wouldnt be too far for us or our familes.  Any advice or suggestions would be wonderful!Thanks so much.Joann

    I would highly recommend Blue Lake Ranch in Durango.  We just went to a wedding there a couple of weekends ago and it was beautiful!

    dh is from the bayfield/durango area and we were thinking about doing an e session down there. never happened but were considering Alison Ragsdale photography. her prices are pretty reasonable and she was willing to work with our budget - she might be worth contacting! good luck!

    I would definitely choose Telluride over Durango. As I posted on your other thread: make sure not to plan your event during the Telluride Bluegrass Festival which is in June... It would be close to impossible to find a venue or a place to stay even now.
