Venue - Copper Mountain

i was wondering if anybody has experience with getting married at Copper Mountain. My fiance and I wanted to have a mountain wedding (we are both from out of state but live here now) and we aren't too familiar with all the venues that are out there. We looked at a few places and because we have so many out-of-state guests, Copper seemed to work for us and we really liked it when we visited. I'd love to hear if anyone has any personal experiences with this venue.thanks so much!

I don't have any personal experience with weddings at Copper but if you're looking for a beautiful mountain wedding, I highly recommend Piney River Ranch in Vail. I'm getting married there next week and the scenery is gorgeous! I've always wanted the mountain wedding and the resorts were out of our budget and PRR was more affordable. I have pics in my bio under "Venue". Good luck!

I checked out the venue for on top of the mountain. My major problem with it was having guest ride up the chair lift. I picked Keystone so they could ride up a gondola. This was much easier for the guests.

Copper makes a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. We have a townhouse in Copper and are there nearly every weekend. Our good friends were just married at the top of Copper Mountain on August 1. It was beautiful. Your guests can take the chair lift up, but we were also offered an alternate ride to the top in a van. I think the cost was relative (esp. for a resort) but everyone loved it!
