Colorado-Denver

Hi everyone

Hey all, just thought I'd introduce myself.  I just got engaged on Saturday night, so I'm not quite planning yet, but it's coming soon.  So, I'm sure I'll be around here a lot!  If anyone has any ideas for a great location for a tight budget, I'd love that, too!  (Entire budget: ~$5000)

I toured all over the state for a venue. Many were too small for us, you might want to check those out. I'd recommend Meadow Creak B&B up in Pine, or the Carter park Pavillion in Breckenridge. OR VRBO for a private residence, some accomodate groups up to 30. What time of year are you thinking?

Still not sure what time of year, yet- probably either spring or fall.  The FI is pushing for 10/10/10 but I told him things are probably already booked up.  I actually stayed in a condo near the Carter Park Pavilion in Breck and I remember thinking it seemed like a cool place.  We'll definitely have a small group, 50 max.

Carter park would be perfect for that! you can bring in your own food and booze so its so much more affordable and customizable. the rental it realy afforable too! 10/10 at 10k feet might be really cold. if you want 10/10, i'd look at lower elevations. We had snow on 9.12 in breck... page me if you have any questions, we used Carter park for our day after event.

Welcome! For a more rustic feel try the Bertolin Barn in Longmont-- very affordable and fits about 150 poeple. You can bring in your own caterer, alcohol etc, but they provide tables and chairs.  It is normally a music venue...www.bertolinbarn.com GL!  Looking forward to getting to know you!
