So I have come across several vendors that I absolutely love that I have dealt with prior to the wedding. Das Meyer Bakery (Arvada) - fantastic cakes!! These were sooooo delicious! And they have free cake tasting every Sat. from 10:30am-3:30pm (Feb-Nov). Family-owned business and everyone is wonderful. Very reasonably priced as well.Dina's Bridal (Superior) - this is where I got my dress (and if I could figure out how to put a PIP, I would show you!). Gina, the owner, and her daughter are so wonderfully nice. They are not pushy at all. I told them I wanted to keep it under $1000 and if I grabbed one that was more, she told me that so I wouldn't try it on and fall in love with it since it would be out of my price range. Bridal World (Lakewood-Colorado Mills) - although I didn't get my dress here, the owner Nancy was wonderful. Again, not pushy, but helpful just the same. Also reasonably priced.Manley's BBQ (Black Hawk) - for a more backyard BBQ, this was FANTASTIC. Chad Manley brought food over to our house for a tasting. We seriously have enough food for the whole week. He has his own bottled BBQ sauce, and he slow-smokes all of his meats. I recommend the pulled pork, chicken, and sausage. Besides the baked beans, the sides aren't anything to talk about (but he admits that). And it's only about $12-15 per person!! That's all I have during the last 4 days of looking. The planning has been going surprisingly smooth and not stressful at all! Good luck!
