Marriage license/certificate question

Hi all, I am so darn confused right now! We got what I thought was our marriage certificate in the mail, but upon further inspection, it appears to be our license with a sticker from the city and county of denver on the bottom. Is this now our certificate, or do I have to do something else to get the real certificate? We got married at Holy Ghost, and I was almost certain Fr. Tom told me they would send in the license for us, and then the C&C would mail our certificate to us. Am I mistaken?I don't even want to think about going through the name change process until I figure out what is going on here!

Hey - The license (what you got back from C&C of Denver) with the sticker on it is what the SS office people wanted from me. That was the piece we signed and HG mailed for us to the C&C of Denver for processing and final certification.

We haven't gotten anything else (certificate wise)...I'm pretty sure your license is it (Our license was on a long piece of paper & was kinda "2-sections" top was the more "certificate" looking part and the bottom was the license/signature part) if that makes sense.    Maybe someone else can shed some light on this but my understanding is that your license is all you get back from the County Clerk's office.
no identifiable siggy pictures anymore, thanks a lot stupid nest!

Yes this is also your certificate. I was confused at first too. This is the document I used to change my name with SS, DMV, bank, etc.
