Down to Weeks----Eeeek! :)

Eeek, in a good way ;)It gave me a jolt to see it on my ticker today :)  I'm so excited, but also so anxious to finally be married!  We will have had almost exactly a 20 month engagement----it is time to get married.  hahaI wondered if any of you had some last month planning advice and/or lists you could pass onto me.  I'm feeling a little lost as to things I should make sure to do this final month, and I feel like I'm forgetting something! So far I have:1) Create Seating chart/Place cards2) Finish Ceremony Programs3) Turn in packet of info to DJ (plus meet with them)4) Finalize flower order5) Make final payments to venders6) Turn in final counts to the reception site 7) Get MARRIAGE LICENSE!8)  Finalize my groom's gift and start brainstorming a nice card to give him the day ofSo yeah....seems like a super short list lol.  But in general I think I've been on top of things (which sometimes makes me feel like I'm missing something since it is all done)! But any advice for the final month of planning would be appreciated :)  Thanks so much!  You all have been lifesavers during my almost 2-year period of wedding planning!

Christine, Your list sounds good and manageable.  My only advice would be is to get EVERYTHING done in the next 3 weeks.  That way, you can tend to any last minute "emergencies", spend time with your FI, spend time with your family /friends, etc...in that very last week before the wedding.  I had only last minute venue appointments in the final week and took most of the week off from work...but STILL felt like I was pressed for time.  As soon as my family got into town, I felt like I was being pulled in a million different directions.  There was no way I could have done any "projects" that week without being totally cranky. If you can, try to schedule some time with your FI early in the week of the wedding (before out of town friends/family start to arrive).  Go out - even if it is just to grab a cup of coffee - and spend a little time together. That's all I've got right now but will let you know if I think of other things.
