Dress Shop Recommendations

Hi everyone, I am going to go wedding dress shopping for the first time on the 23rd!  I am looking for good wedding dress shops to try out.  My price range is fairly small ($700 max) and I'm in the size 16 range.  So far I have D'Anellis (I've heard that their service is sketchy, but they carry a large selection of larger dresses), Amanda's Bridal, and A Total Image.  Where else on the center/west side of town do you suggest?  Thanks!

Hi!  The only place I went dress shopping in town was Anna Be, they were absolutely lovely but everything was out of my price range (I also was trying to stay under $800).  I ended up buying my dress in Phoenix, but here are two online options to consider: Thread Bridal (www.threadesign.com), if you look under "Bridal Alternatives," they carry a variety of dresses in the $360-$800 range in both standard and plus sizes.  Also Jenny Yoo (www.jennyyoo.com) has beautiful dresses in the $600-$700, and they carry up to size 26.  I ended up buying a Jenny Yoo dress!

You should really consider Anna Be, The Bridal Collection (in DTC), Blue Bridal, D'Annelli's and David's Bridal.  Just go and try stuff on....you don't have to buy it there.

Other options to consider- preownedweddingdresses.com, bridepower.com, craigslist, ebay, and the Brides Against Breast Cancer Sales.  You can find beautiful dresses that are available for way way less than you'd pay retail.  Also consider Lee Phillips Bridals (leephillipsbridals.com)- I ordered my dress there and it was perfect!

I work at Blushing Bride in Windsor we have a few larger dresses and some of our samples are on sale for $99 until Jan 3rd
