    Yup, pretty much over this "ugh." I had a good weekend; we visited Christies of Genesee, the Pines of Genesee and Crystal Rose (lookout mountain and robin's nest). All their gardens were destroyed by the hail Friday night :( but it was still fun to check out :)

    Then we had our friends' wedding Saturday night at Crystal Rose; it was pretty fun. And Sunday was recovery :)

    So, just back to the grindstone today!

    Monday = The Suck. Rainy, gloomy Monday = The Super Suck.

    I had some family in town for a baseball tournament that got cancelled due to the rain, so our weekend was pretty uneventful. We went to a Bed Bath and Beyond Registry Completion Event last night though and got anything in the store 20% so that was kick ass!

    Had a great weekend, despite the yugly weather.  Sure am looking forward ot some sunshine!  We had our dinner tasting at Christie's of Genesee on Saturday - it was fabulous!  We were then supposed ot od our engagement shoot at Red Rocks on Sunday...but alas, due to the weather we had to reschedule!  Oh well, we'll get them done and when we do I'm sure they will be great!  Since there ws a wedding going on while we were at Christie's, I didnt get to see the garden, but was fearing it had been destroyed due to the weather....I hope it is able to recover by the time my August 13th wedding rolls around!  :o(

    We were at Christie's on Saturday, and it wasn't THAT terrible. So I'd say it should make a nice recovery by August :)  It's a seemingly pretty protected garden, and was probably the least damaged of all we saw on Saturday up there :)

    I enjoy rain (grew up in a farming community) but this much rain is INSANE!  Tongue out

    NWR:Wolfdancer, I completly understand you having to cancel the pictures at Red Rocks! I went to a concert at Red Rocks on Friday....sat through about 8 hours of heavy rain in the front row to see MGMT!!! We got there so early we saw them get off the tour bus, and I asked Tame Impala (opening act) to go have beers with us after the show! It was a crazy night...went home soaked to the bone...but it was an epic night!

    WR: I got home from the concert Saturday morning and got an e-mail back from our prospective photographer! We are meeting her on Wednesday to get to know eachother and possibly set up a time for engagement pictures and get a contract started!
