Needing help on finding an officiant. Neither my Fiance or I are religous. Any suggestions on where to find a good one?

What about just a good friend or family member?  No special requirements in Colorado.
  • Couples themselves may solemnize their own marriage (C.R.S 14-2-109).
They must apply for paper work from the County Courthouse in order to do this.
However, friends or relatives can not solemnize their marriage. Out-of-state Clergy
need not be registered in Colorado.

  • Totally right, I just meant that you can have anyone in that role (if you want) and then in the end the couple solemnizes their own marriage.
  • Hi,

Have you had any luck with finding an officiant? My name is Christin and I am the owner of J.A. Lily events in Denver, CO. I would be more than happy to help you find the right fit. If you are still needing assistance I would love to help!

Looking forward to hearing from you soon,

    Christin
