Aisle Runner help

What would you suggest for securing an aisle runner to carpet?  I have gone completely blank on this one.  Any suggestions?  I don't want it shifting or for it to be unsafe and wedding party tripping.

paper weights? something descrete i suppose or something like a pin if you could..

You should be able to find a double sided heavy duty tape that would work.
