What's your favorite restaurant?

Hi ladies!  I'm looking for a bit of local flare for my rehearsal dinner.  Getting married in Lakewood, hotel my OOT guests will be staying at is in Golden.  I'm hoping to find a non chain restaurant. So what are your favorite dinner stop?

you could take them to casa bonita, that's not chain and near where you are

also close, the fort or the original red robin is close

I read some pretty bad things about Casa Bonita.  Should I believe the reviews or is it better than that?

Casa Bonita is a fun place (especially for kids) but the food is TERRIBLE.  I don't recommend it for a rehearsal dinner.

haha, i was joking! i didn't know you didn't know........yes the food is AWEFUL, downright horrible

BUT, it is one of those "places" that you should visit at least one time

I'd second The Fort.  You'll get a real "western" / Colorado welcome.  It's a bit pricey though.  But...worth it. :-)
