Bachelorette Party

Hey all,

I need ideas for a bachelorette party! I am throwing one for my best friend the second week of October. We are all really laid back and not too big into the club scene, strippers don't sound exciting either.

I was thinking about a comedy club but comedy works has Margaret Cho preforming and is $35 a ticket.

Maybe a burlesque show? or a nice club with a relaxed atmosphere and some comfy seating?

Has anyone heard of either Blue Ice or Mario's Double Daugher's Salotto?

Any ideas are welcome!

i heard the new bar, sing sing is pretty fun

or comedy works is great! just remember that even though it's $35 a ticket-they make you pay for 2 (over priced) drinks!

and you do have to pay more for premium seating

however, i do like the comedy works south-it's a lot nicer then the one downtown

you could also go to laney's clock tower cabaret:

    i've heard that's fun too

There is a place in denver called "sippin and painting" and its like a painting class where you do a replica of a famous peice and drink wine and have hors' doeuvres and they offer private parties. There are also a couple of vineyards in Northern CO, you could do a wine tasting and stay up there for the night or something.

We stayed at a hotel in downtown denver. We just sorta hung out during the day and did pedis and manis. My sister also had a rep from Slumber Parties come out and did a party for us. That night we went out and ended up coming across a place called "Wile Ivories" on Market Street. It was unplanned but the MOST fun place I have ever been. Its dueling pianos and they make up songs and sing WHATEVER you want. Sorta like Sing Sing but a little bit more fun and not so busy!

Thanks so much for all the idea's guys! I really appreciate it. We are doing the bachelorette party right after the rehearsal dinner at the Brown palace so staying downtown is key. I love the dueling piano bar idea and I night check out Lannies Clock tower too...
