Venue Recs? Anyone get married at Arrowhead Golf Course?

My parents live in Littleton so I'd like to find something in that area or maybe in Boulder.  I visited Arrowhead and liked what I saw: the outdoor ceremony space, plenty of room for my ~100 guests, easy drive for those not use to mountain driving, and priced within my range.  Has anyone been married or involved in a wedding there? Any complaints? Or do you have any other favorite venues?

Thanks!

What's your budget? They are REALLY pricey when it comes to food and beverage minimums. I think when I emailed them about my September wedding they told me the minimum was $12,000 and that was just for food and beverage. Just something for you to keep in mind. It is a gorgeous site and I expect you would have a fabulous time there. We ended up going with the Boettcher Mansion, but that's obviously not near Boulder.

I once did videography for a wedding at that venue. It was a beautiful location and everything seemed to run smoothly. Sorry, I don't have any insider information, but everything seemed nice from what I saw.

it is a GORGEOUS golf course, however VERY VERY expensive and not all inclusive!

you want luxury at a better price? try the brown palace! there are other places in littleton/boulder that are much better and more inclusive

Thanks to those who have responded!

I am surprised that everyone feels Arrowhead is so expensive; it didn't seem unreasonable compared to some other places we saw.  We did look briefly at Boettcher Mansion but ruled it out because it was going to be something like $5000 to get the space and that was before any food or drink.  Everything I've read has put ceremony and reception costs at 40-50% of overall budget so I didn't feel like $12000 was way over the top ... How much of your budget is the venue/food?  I know we'd still have to do cake and flowers for the reception but my mom's a florist so flowers can easily be done on a lesser budget.  I'm curious what percent of the budget other people think is reasonable!

    Thanks :)

We are spending about 40% of our total budget on food and venue.  It was really important to us to get a venue that we loved, so it was well worth the money.  If Arrowhead is within your budget and you like it, go for it!

We're having our reception at Arrowhead and we absolutely love it there and the people there are great. They have been very helpful, and I got a great deal on the food, etc. It's so beautiful there. Also, there isn't a site rental fee on top of the food, which is a big bonus.

We are getting married at Arrowhead on July 2nd-- the countdown is on.  We have had a great experience thus far in planning.  Natalia is great.  We are doing our wedding there on a Friday night and they do have a discount on Fridays vs. Saturdays if that is an option for you and the minimum is much less.  As pp mentioned they do not have a separate site rental cost but they do charge a ceremony fee of $750.  Will post after the wedding to let you know how it all turns out.

If you are looking for more affordable, Hudson Gardens is really nice, In Littleton and a lower price bracket.
