alterations recommendations please

Hi there,
my wedding is in April of 2013 and I desperately need to find a place to do my alterations soon. Can anyone recommend any good reliable places? I just need it taken in a bit and need the bustle done.

we've never really come a consensus on where to do alterations other than don't go to david's bridal!

I too have been looking at for a place for alterations. I got eloped last month (best decision I ever made btw) and would like to redesign my floor length dress to something tea length for the party/reception we're having in June. I came across this place: http://www.theweddingseamstress.com/ on the interwebs but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them. They seem like they know what they are doing, but I didn't want to head all the way out to Arvada if it wasn't worth the trip (I live in Denver).

If anyone has any suggestions I am open.

I went to the wedding seamstress and they did an amazing job with my wedding dress. It was slightly more then I had thought it would be but that's because my dress had beading that I just wasn't thinking about. Still very reasonable, they were even able to alter a bridesmaid dress the week of the wedding, she lived out of town. They were always very nice and friendly. They made one tiny little mistake and wouldn't let me leave with the dress until they fixed it properly. I was in love with the whole experience. The rooms are private and large, it just feels great.

I second the "wedding seamstress" in arvada. she is AMAZING and highly affordable. although it was a drive for me coming from the tech center, she is well worth it. she was a pleasure to work with. its a pretty little shop, but she does great work!!
