Cakes!! Recommendations?

I'm to the point that I really need to start looking for a place to do my cake. Any recommendations of who I should or shouldn't contact? Thanks so much!!

    The Shoppe does amazing work, both traditional cakes and cupcakes.  They have an amazing retail space on Colfax Ave near the Bluebird Theatre where you can sample their many delicious cupcake flavors.


    Ask to speak to Emma, who handles the weddings.  They're definitely a little offbeat, but they're a fantastic local business.

    we are having ours done at whole foods, because we try to eat organic and did not want to feel guilty about eating an un-organic wedding cake. They are decorating it and everything and to feed 100 people it is under $200.00.

    we used Paula Thomas of Teacup Shop Bakery.  LOVED both our wedding cake & our grooms cake.  pics in my bio.  Paula is amazing! :)

    The Totally Baked Chef, LLC.  She will make you a cake that is AMAZING and her flavors are outstanding.  Can't beat her prices either!  She can do a tradtional, beautiful cake or if you're on the wild side (like us) she can make you a custom one of a kind cake that you would swaer is from TLC's "Cake Boss".

    PS - DO NOT CONTACT SIMPLICITY CAKES UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.  SHE STOLE OUR $100 DEPOSIT AND ARE STILL FIGHTING TO GET IT BACK!!!
