  • Hey! The doctor's appointment went pretty well. He thinks it's rotator cuff tendonitis and he definitely doesn't think the tendon is torn. He gave me a cortisone shot in my left shoulder, more because I wanted it than him thinking I needed it. I also start physical therapy next week. He thinks the rotator cuff muscles need to learn how to work well together and that will diminish the pain I'm feeling, so hopefully that works. It doesn't sound like I will need surgery. In the mean time, I should avoid upper body weight lifting, but I'm free to resume lower body and cardio stuff, so I may hit the gym later. Thanks for asking!
