    So tell us more; do you have a date yet? Colors? Theme? When did you get engaged? What do you do? Share about yourself!

    We got enaged May 22, date is August 5, 2012 and colors are black and white.

    I am a leasing consultant for an apartment community in Thornton but live in Arvada. I have a lot of things planned out for the wedding already (I'm a type A! lol) but am in the works of executing it all now.

    Thank you for the warm welcome! I have a work engagement this Saturday evening but would love to come to the next one! I love, love, love the Cherry Cricket!!!

    and let us ALL warn you (hopefully you haven't done this yet). do NOT pick your wedding party yet! A year can change a lot of things! Browsing a lot of these boards you'll see so much drama around the fact that people pick their parties way too early!

    Wait until about 6 months out...

    Thanks for the advice! I have personally seen some of that drama unfold with friends' weddings. The only members of the party we have decided on are family members.
