Invitations

Quick question:

For a wedding over July 4th weekend (July 3, 2011), how early should I send out invitations for the holiday weekend? Pretty much all of our guests are going to be out-of-towners coming into Denver from the opposites coasts and the south.

We haven't ordered them yet, but we've picked out what invites we want. What do you all think?

Thanks!

I would say no later then 2-3 months if you send out Save the dates. If not then you might want to do 3-4 months out so that guest can request time off work and make travel arragements.

I would send out Save the Date cards if you dont want to do your invites too early. We had our wedding over halloween with alot of out of town people as well, so we send out out STD cards, then sent out our invites like 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding.
