Wedding Guest List - When to send the A, B, and C guest lists?

Hi,

My fiance and I have prioritized our wedding guest list.  What we can't find on the internet is a timeline for a prioritized guest lsit.  We don't know when to send the Top priority (A list) all the way down to the low prioritiy (C list).  We are also struggling with how many people from each priority guest list we should send once spaces open up.  Are there any brides out there with good recommendations on how to actually implement the prioritization guest list?  Any references to articles or books is appreciated!

Thanks!

There isn't a timeline because A, b and c lists are a bad idea and always will come back and bite ya in the rear.  Only invite the people  you truly want and how much the venue can hold.  You can always use the excuse of your budget and size restrictions when people ask if they are invited.

If you do send out an "a" list, people will know if they are invited or not.  It isn't polite to tell people, "well I have to wait till Aunt Suzy says "no" then I can invite you.  I wouldn't do it.   Stick to just one list.
