Buy or Rent?????????

So I though I would save some wedding cash by buying my linens, my venue does not provide them. So Ive donr my research and the average price TO BUY  a White 120" table cover, 60" satin overlay is between $23.00-$28.00 bucks ( I added in tax & shipping)

I have 15 tabes so we are looking at like $375.00.

To rent them at http://cgblume.com is $17.00 per table or $255.00??

So its like $100.00 bucks difference... but its $50.00 set up/break down fee so Im looking at $330.00.

Is it worth saving only $70.00 bucks to rent?

I mean if I buy I have to pay the venue more to set everything up, do i drive myself crazy setting up hundreds of pounds of linens myself, making sure they are steamed out and set up. When Im done can I really resale them?? And chairs & sashes is a whole other mess

Soooo many questions?? Maybe Im over thinking :(

What are you planning on doing with the linens if you buy them after the ceremony?  Sell them?

If it were me, I would rent just because they are used once and than you don't have to store them or deal with them again.  However, if you planning on selling them you might be able to make some money back.

    Happy planning!

I was all for buying them and then turning around and selling them on craigslist or ebay... until you said setting up yourself and steaming them and making them perfect. Is $70 really worth all that stress???

Would the rental place really put them down on the tables for you? We always use Event Rents (both event places I've worked) and they don't ever do anything besides drop the stuff off. Not sure how you would avoid having to pay the venue extra for set up either way you go.

Thank you guys for the comments. My mother reminded me this morning that my peace of mind is worth $70.00 bucks.

I cant imagine trying to set up the leinens and get ready plus all the day of madness Im sure will happen.

Plus I doubt I want to go through the whole re sale drama. Ive decided to go with renting!!

nhand2206 , Im using CG Blume Rentals, they set them up & insure they are steamed and pretty. They are awsome!!! http://cgblume.com
