PSA!!

So this morning when my FI went to work he called me  to remind me move my car for street sweeping.  As I am walking to the car he states..."Oh I noticed that someone took your front license plate!"...  I am sure I would have noticed eventually but just a PSA to look every once in a while to make sure things are as they should be with your car and don't leave things in your car to tempt people either.  I had to file a police report and all to cover my self in case something happens and I had to go to the DMV to get new plates(which always proves to be an interesting experience).  Needless to say I am happy it was just my plate and not my car or any of its contents!!  Lesson learned hear!  At least I had the day off and could take care of it all before I leave town for work tomorrow!!

    Nice!  Who knows why people do what they do!  I am just glad Mike noticed and let me know!  I leave tomorrow for 4 days for work I can only imagine if I came home and the person who took it did something illegal with it and now there is a warrant out for my arrest!  Granted that would be my luck!  Gotta love the observant FI that I thought never paid attention to anything!  Man was I proven wrong today!  Wink

    I had my rear plate stolen one time when I parked at the Broadway station; the REALLY weird thing though, was they were still out of state plates!

    oh G-d, only this f*cking town would people be THAT stupid

    cops crawl every inch of denver...oh well, i guess they're too busy beating up people to notice stolen licsense plates

    Wow.  Not cool for the 99.9% of them who risk their lives to make us all safer.

    OP, sorry about your plates and even more sorry about your trip to the DMV.  Hope you weren't there (like I was) when their computer system was down.  Oy!
