help! I need favor ideas!!

Hi ladies! Its been a while since I've been on the boards, but I hope everyone is well! I have been racking my brain lately to find a good favor idea and I am coming up short! I have 250$ budgeted and a guest list at 300 (sooooo many its a little overwhelming) but I am only planning to order 250 of something, hoping this doesnt backfire either, BUT anyway I need some advice...anyone know of anything that I could do that is Colorado related? We have a lot of out of towners so I thought that would be fun. Even though I grew up here the only thing that ever comes to mind to me about Colorado themed favors is beer! hahaha. Anyway any help would be much appreciated :) Thanks!!

I say take the $250 and put it towards something else.  Favors aren't really needed.  If your heart is set on something, do something that is edible.  How much do cookies cost that are decorated in your colors?

Is there a way to do a little candy bar?  Or can you put the 250 towards extra hours of the reception, dj, or to the bar or upgrade your food?

I'm going with personalized chapstick/lipbalm.  Everyone uses it in Colorado.  I'm buying 300 and am paying $250 for them.  You can always get blank chapsticks and put a monogram sticker on it.  Even cheaper!

we just got married in September & did edible favors (Enstrom's Candy - English Toffee squares which is all locally made in Colorado).  I went to my cousin's wedding this past weekend & she did packets of Colorado wildflower seeds.
no identifiable siggy pictures anymore, thanks a lot stupid nest!

seeds of Columbines (state flower) can be found a ton of places

you could also give out packets of Celestial Seasonings tea, Hammonds or Sees candy

or you could do homemade cookies-roll them up in Colorado newspaper cones

there's a lot to do for budget if you stick to small or DIY

    hope it helps :)

We are just making a donation to St. Judes in the name of our guest.  They send you cute cards that tells the guest where the money went too.  It will make them feel good, and you can get 300 cards for a 250 donation. Good Luck.
