New to the board!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Katie and I am new to the board. My fiancee Kevin and I got engaged on December 21st 2009 at the Denver Botanical Gardens.

I haven't really been on too many websites, but I figured that I should get a move on everything! (The checklists scare me to death!)

While I really want to focus on the wedding I am also working beyond full time, in a Masters degree program and we are getting ready to close on a new house at the end of the month so it really hasn't been a priority until last week...

I look forward to meeting everyone and learning some tricks of the trade!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Katie

Welcome Katie!  Congrats on your engagement.  There are many wonderful girls on this board who have all sorts of great advice!

Sounds like you're very busy!  What are you getting your Masters degree in?  I can speak from experience that it can be done (I worked full time, worked on my doctorate, planned my wedding & looked for houses all at the same time).  its so nice to be on the other side of it all now...but looking back it was crazy times :)

Enjoy the planning process & let me know if I can help ya in any way :)

    Katie-
That is awesome!  I have my Masters in clinical psych & am finishing my dissertation & then i'll finally be done with school (WOO HOO!).  Yes, I think the masters in counseling will come in handy...practice lots of coping skills during the wedding planning process (they saved me while dealing with extended family members, vendors, etc!) LOL
