Dress still not here

Yep, you read right...still not here. Spoke with the "President/Owner" Warren today and he assured me the dress will be here tomorrow. I then sent FI an email about this and apparently after we got off the phone, he contacted her shortly after and told her that he has the tracking number for the dress and it will be there friday.

uggg what a mess!!  Fitting schedule wise, you're still fine.  Is the salon going to do anything for your troubles?

LOL apparently we're skipping Thursday this week so that "tomorrow" = Friday.  They should cut you guys a deal on alterations since its so late (assuming alterations are being done at the same store).

Of course not. This place is a sham.

We were originally going to pay to have the alterations done there but not anymore.

Did you ask for the tracking number? I would just to check for yourself that they aren't just saying that again,

I thought of you yesterday. I watched a re-run of SYTTD on TLC around 5:30...and guess what darn bridal salon had 2 commercials on! I told my FI about your troubles with the dress and he was dumbfounded. Then he told me how they treated my FSIL when she went to go and get her dress (she thankfully did not purchase it from there) - but now knowing both stories - I'm SHOCKED they're still in business.

PS - Fingers crossed it gets there either tomorrow or Friday.

Omg. I'm pretty sure I'd be a full blown bridezilla by now, lol. I really hope it comes in by Friday. Like the pp said, I'd ask for the tracking number to make sure they arent just saying that.

I know of a local bridal shop that I know to stay away from.
