I did not know you could get married on Boathouse Row.... do you have a venue in mind? They do have a restaurant down there, Waterworks... It's a pricey restaurant.

Here is a link to the venue I was talking about... http://www.thewaterworksrestaurant.com/weddings-overview/

Their wedding package is online.. It's $145 pp...

I think someone on here did their rehearsal dinner at Boathouse Row. I can't remember who though...

I was thinking of renting out one of the houses, like the vesper house.  I looked at the waterworks but it seemed kind of expensive for okay food.

I think you need to be involved with the boathouse to use it for a function.  One of my FI's friends had a party at one of the houses, but he was a former crew member.

Also, they are set up into little rooms, and are not particularly big inside, so I would consider that in case you are envisioning a larger wedding.

I went to a wedding this summer in one of the boathouses, I think it was Vesper. Not sure how much it costs...I think the site fee was substantial. However, they could choose their own caterer and as the boathouse did not have a liquor license, they provided their own alcohol.

I've been to an event (not a wedding) at one of the boathouses...I think it was the second to furthest from the city.  I'm not sure what kind of wedding you would have but this place was pretty "rustic" :)  Also, it was awkwardly laid out and in my opinion wouldn't work for a wedding.

I think the group that had the event contacted the rowing crew to rent from them but they were not associated with the rowing group.

There is an incredible venue down there... Waterworks restaurant.  It is, however, one of the more pricey in the area.  It was on my list of serious potentials for venues... but can really add up (starts around $150 per person, but fees here and there, for each room, and to use the outside area, parking, coatcheck, etc REALLY add up quick).
    Good luck!
